Step-by-Step Guide to Enable 2FA on Shopify:
1. Log In to Your Shopify Account
• Go to the Shopify login page and sign in to your account.
2. Access Your Account Settings
• Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
• Select “Manage Account” from the dropdown menu.
3. Go to the Security Tab
• On the left-hand menu, click on “Security.”
4. Enable Two-Step Verification
• In the “Two-step verification” section, locate and click the “Turn on two-step” button.
5. Scan the QR Code
• A QR code will appear on your screen.
• Open the Authenticator app on your phone and tap the “+” button.
• Use your camera to scan the QR code.
6. Enter the Generated Code
• The Authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code for Shopify.
• Enter this code on the Shopify screen to complete the setup.
7. Save Your Backup Codes
• Save the backup codes provided during the setup process. These codes will help you regain access to your Shopify account if you ever lose your device or the Authenticator app.
