How to Enable 2FA on Coinbase

  1. Open Coinbase on your PC.

  2. In the top-right corner, click on your profile picture, then select your name from the dropdown menu.


  3. Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on Security, followed by 2FA Settings.

  4. Under the Available Methods section, find Authenticator App and click the Set Up button.

  5. Enter the code sent to your email and continue to view the QR code.

  6. Open the Authenticator app on your phone. Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner and scan the QR code displayed on Coinbase.

  7. The app will generate a 6-digit code for Coinbase every 30 seconds. Enter this code on Coinbase before it expires.


That’s it—your Coinbase account is now secured with 2FA!
