Navigate to the Account Menu.Once logged in, click on the "Accounts & Lists" dropdown in the upper-right corner, and select Account.
Find the Login and Security Section.In your account settings page, locate the Login & Security option and click on it.
Scroll down to Two-Step Verification.On the Login & Security page, scroll down until you see the section titled Two-Step Verification (2FA). Click the Turn On button.
Scan the QR Code with Your Authenticator App.A QR code will appear on your screen. Now, grab your phone.
Open Your Authenticator App on Your Phone.
Tap the "+" Button to Add a New Account.On the app’s main screen, tap the + button (usually located at the bottom-right corner) to add a new account.
Scan the QR Code.Use your phone’s camera to scan the QR code displayed on Amazon’s website.
Enter the 6-Digit Code.After scanning, the authenticator app will start generating a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds. Enter this code on Amazon’s screen before it expires.
Success! Your Amazon Account is Now Protected.Once you've entered the code, your 2FA setup is complete. From now on, whenever you log in to Amazon, you’ll need to provide both your password and the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

Copy the Code Provided by Amazon.Instead of a QR code, Amazon will provide you with a code. Copy this code to your clipboard.
Open Your Authenticator App. Launch your authenticator app and tap the + button to add a new account.
Choose “Manually Enter a Code”.In the authenticator app, select the option to manually enter the code. Provide the necessary information such as the platform name (Amazon) and your account name, then paste the code you copied from Amazon.
Enter the 6-Digit Code.Once you've set up the 2FA in your app, it will start generating a 6-digit code every 30 seconds. Enter this code on Amazon before it expires.
